This website has been designed to adhere to Web Accessibility standards, in order to do this the following elements have been thought of during design:
- No Frames
- Consistent layout and navigation
- No dependence on graphics to display information
- Accessible to blind and partially sighted people
- Accessible to disabled people who may not be able to use a mouse
Newer browsers will allow you to change the text size by Holding Ctrl and pressing the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to increase or decrease the text size. Alternatively you can hold down the Ctrl key and use the scroll on your mouse.
However if you browser doesn't allow this, please follow the steps below for your web browser:
Internet Explorer (version 7)
- Click on 'Page' on the top right-hand menu.
- Click on 'Text size'.
- Select the size you would like (usually set to medium)
Internet Explorer (up to version 6)
- Click on 'View' on the top menu.
- Click on 'Text Size'.
- Select the size you would like (usually set to medium)
Mozilla FireFox
- Click on 'View' on the top menu.
- Select Increase/ Decrease text untill the text is a suitable size.
Opera
- Click on 'View' on the top menu.
- Go to 'Zoom'.
- Select the size you would like.
AccessKeys allow you to go to different pages using a keyboard command.
How to use AccessKeys:
Internet Explorer: Alt + Accesskey, then Enter
Firefox: Alt + Shift + Accesskey
Opera: Shift + Esc, then Accesskey
Mac users: Ctrl + Accesskey
